Sunday 9 January saw Ellesmere Port Under 15s travel to New Brighton for their long awaited Cheshire Cup 1st Round encounter.
A thrilling match with tries coming from Louis Parker, Josh Gorman, Sam Bethell and a hat trick from team captain Joe Firth. Harry Simmons converted three to give the extras.
New Brighton were only able to respond with two tries, both unconverted.
A great performance by all to give a final score of 36-10, they now progress to Cheshire Cup Quarter Finals and face Altrincham Kersal.
