After a brief warm up the Oiler’s were ready to go. Chester showed early on though that they were a force to be reckoned with. An early try by Chester was followed by two consecutive tries by Liam, but after that Chester showed their dominance with an unanswered 9 tries. A few runs by the Oiler’s promised to open up the hosts, but support at the breakdown was too slow for the quicker Chester team who won the battle of the rucks.

A great passage of play across the back from Liam to Mikey and then to Noah saw a consolation try towards the end. A lot of hot, tired boys came off the pitch today after working hard and they thoroughly deserved the hospitality bestowed upon them by their opponents. The final score ran in 13-3 to Chester.
