Ellesmere Port won the toss and George J took the ball and passed to Tommy W. Tommy surged forward but was tagged by the opposition, he quickly passed to Ben E who tried to snake his way through Heaton’s defensive line. As Ben was tagged Sam B was on his shoulder, he took the easy pass and went on to score the opening try for Ellesmere Port. Heaton were quick on the attack but Ellesmere Port were strong in defence getting plenty of tags and winning the ball back. Thomas G had a great run but was soon surrounded by the opposition; he made a quick pass to Ben who ran for the corner getting a second try for Ellesmere Port.
Heaton Moor managed to get past Ellesmere Port for their first try. Ellesmere Port were hungry for a win and when the ball was passed to Oliver he outran Heaton Moor going from one side of the pitch to the other to score an outstanding try.

The next group came on and were just as psyched, running at Heaton Moor and diving for the tags. Keegan was unstoppable pushing forward with Jack P taking the ball, a mistake from E.Port caused a turnover ball. Heaton Moor took the opportunity to score their second try. Ellesmere Port came back fighting and Jack practically dived for the corner to get a wonderful final try for Ellesmere Port. Heaton Moor still wanted to get back in the game but Ellesmere Port were excellent in defence with Nathanial diving for an important tag which stopped the opposition in their tracks.
